Email kagami@orochisystems.com for Kagami support. We can help with habit logging, heatmaps, iCloud sync, widgets, Siri or Shortcuts behavior, Apple Watch or Mac behavior, reminders, exports, and privacy controls.
2. Quick Setup Checks
If Kagami is not behaving correctly, first verify: - You are running the latest available version of Kagami. - iCloud is enabled on each device you expect to sync. - The same Apple account is used across devices. - Widget and notification permissions are enabled if you use those features. - Apple Watch is paired and nearby when using watch quick-log surfaces.
3. Logging and Heatmap Troubleshooting
If today's value looks wrong, open the habit detail screen and adjust the value directly. Kagami stores history as log events, so changes may take a moment to re-aggregate after sync or device relaunch.
4. Sync and Data Reset Troubleshooting
Kagami sync uses Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. If data appears delayed, open Kagami on each device while connected to the network, confirm iCloud is available, and allow time for Apple sync services to deliver updates. If iCloud sync is enabled, deleting habits or resetting data may propagate to other devices using the same Apple account.
5. Widget, Siri, and Shortcuts Help
If widgets or shortcuts do not show current habits, open the main app once, confirm the habit still exists, and refresh or re-add the widget. Widget writes can appear after the main app next runs and mirrors local changes through sync.
6. Reminder Help
If reminders do not appear, confirm notification permission is enabled for Kagami, check Focus mode and notification summary settings, and confirm the habit still has a reminder time configured.
7. Export and Deletion
Kagami export creates JSON files for your habit data. Protect exported files after saving or sharing them. Deleting habits, resetting data, or loading sample data over existing data can affect synced devices when iCloud is enabled.
8. What to Include in Your Email
Please include your device model, OS version, Kagami app version, whether iCloud sync is enabled, the affected habit type, whether the issue involves widgets, Shortcuts, watch, reminders, export, or sync, and a short description of what you expected versus what happened.
9. Privacy and Safety Note
Do not send passwords, Apple account credentials, private tokens, or other secrets. If you share screenshots of habit data, redact anything personal first.
